Privacy Policy

short, like everything else here.

Plain-language summary: we collect as little as possible — your email when you give it to us, and what's needed to sell you a book. We don't sell your data. We barely even email you.

01Who we are

Frankly Press LLC ("Frankly," "we," "us") operates readfrankly.com and sells digital books. Frank A. Ives is a fictional character; he does not, and cannot, hold your data. We do. Questions about this policy: frankly@franklypress.com.

02What we collect

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not collect data to build profiles of you.

03How we use it

That's the whole list. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.

04Who else touches your data

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, under their own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Beehiiv (newsletter delivery), and our website hosting provider. We share with them only what's needed for those services to work. We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

05Cookies

The site itself keeps cookies to a minimum. Third-party services we use (such as Stripe during checkout, or embedded fonts) may set their own cookies as part of how they function.

06Your choices and rights

07Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't promise perfection — but we don't hoard data, which is the best protection there is.

08Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

09Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your email will be told to you by email, plainly.
